Connection

Before I started wedding photography, I explored various art forms like poetry, creative writing, paper and fabric design, and even traditional pen-and-pencil drawing. It’s in those early days of shading and sketching that I probably first learned how to play with light—using it to make a flat drawing feel three-dimensional.

What people seem to comment on most about my photography isn’t the technical artistry or lighting tricks but the way the work captures and evokes emotion. I’ve realized that every photograph is a connection between three people: the subject, the viewer, and the photographer. When my work captures genuine emotion in a subject and stirs the same feelings in the viewer, it’s a reflection of me, even though I’m often seen as someone who doesn’t outwardly show much emotion. It’s this connection through emotion that I find most fulfilling in my craft and where i genuinely believe it is an honour to be part of someone's life or love story through the work i do.

With This Ring

Wedding rings are more than just pieces of jewellery; they are very symbolic and represent a couple's love, unity, and lifelong commitment. Each set of rings tells a unique story, from the design choices to the journey that brought the couple together. As a photographer, capturing these details is an opportunity to preserve an essential part of a couple's romance.

Photographing wedding rings is both a challenge and a delight and requires a delicate balance of creativity and technical skill. It’s about more than just capturing an object; it’s about preserving a symbol of love that will last a lifetime.
